Extra Information

Below are our participation statement and general terms and conditions and FAQs

Rock River Coaching Participation Statement.

Adventure Sports are Challenging, Rewarding activities which carry an inherent level of risk due to the nature of the activity and the environment we operate in. There is a real risk of serious injury or death.
Through teaching good practice and safety measures; Instructor/Coach training, qualification and experience; formal and dynamic risk assessing we aim to reduce the risks associated with any given activity to match the ability of the participants to provide a rewarding and challenging experience. It is neither possible nor desirable to remove all conceivable risks from a given activity.
As part of our philosophy of Coaching-To-Independence we place a high importance on developing participants risk awareness and decision making coupled with taking personal responsibility for their action and decisions.
Participants must understand the importance of following safety information and instruction given by their Instructor/Coach and that there are likely to be serious consequences to themselves and others if they do not. Participants who recklessly or wilfully ignore safety instruction will be removed from activities.
